Ko Aham – Who am I?

Anybody who looks for a meaning to life asks this question, ‘Who am I?’ Spirituality is the search for an answer to this question. “That all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. They may be one as we are one. (john 17: 21-23)”. We are one family, so close that the distance between God and man is slender or even non-eixtant. What did Christ preach, Dvaidam or Advaida?

LONG TERM EFFECTS OF TYPHOID

I went through books, magazines to find out the long term effects of typhoid.
What I could gather was that one can have long term pains in the joints, irritation of the eys and may be painful urination. One can get arthritis. It is true, headache is a sympton of typhoid fever, but nowhere could I find that memory loss can also be its aftereffect.

Typhoid

Can you imagine? I could not remember names at the crucial moment. I could not remember the name of my room-mate when asked by somebody. Study was a pain. If you can't remember what was taught yesterday what can you do? Loss of 25% hair was tolerable. I had too thick a hair growth, the reduction made it easier to handle.

After about 30 years one doctor went through my health history. He explained it casually. My three time typhoid within a period of one year before the exams was the culprit. The memory loss was basically because of typhoid fever. Had I known at that time I would not have hated me so much.

Where is that bloody peace?

When did I start searching for 'peace'? Yes, it was a long time ago. I was convinced that nothing good can come of me. Everything went in the wrong way. Even everybody went in the wrong way. I could not answer a single question in the examination. If it was because I did not study, I can understand. But I had studied well and I knew every chapter and I had done my homework well.

When everybody could do well why did I fail?
